Man Catches Thief Going Through His Car, Police Say

Upper Macungie Police say an Allentown man caught someone going through his car Friday night.

Police say the man's vehicle was parked in the 8900 block of Breinig Run Circle when he spotted the other man. 

When confronted, the man ran off to a black Nissan Pathfinder, which was being driven by another man. It drove away. There was nothing taken from the car.

This incident happened in the same week in which township police reported a number of thefts from vehicles.
