Man Victim of Craiglist Harassment, Police Say
Upper Macungie Police say someone placed a phony car sale ad listing township man's phone number.

Upper Macungie Police say an apparent misunderstanding between two men selling and looking to buy a car led to a case of harassment over Craigslist.
Police say the incident happened when the man—whom they did not identify—answered an ad on Craiglist looking to buy a vehicle.
The person who responded said the vehicle had already been sold. The buyer then answered a second ad, which turned out to belong to the same person.
The seller then told the buyer to stop harassing him, police said.
Immediately after that, the buyer learned someone had placed another car sale ad, but with his phone number attached. Although he is not selling a car, police say he has been "receiving numerous inquiries from all over the country" about the ad.
