Man Who Plotted to Rape Real Estate Agent Gets Prison Time

A Bucks County man who plotted to rape an Upper Macungie real estate agent will spend up to two decades in prison, according to published reports.

Frank A. Yeager, 29, of West Rockhill Township, pleaded guilty in May to criminal attempt to commit rape by forceable compulsion. 

On Monday, Lehigh County Judge William Ford sentenced Yeager to 10-20 years in prison. He also gave Yeager a longer sort of sentence -- a lifetime designation on the Megan's Law sex offender list, the Morning Call reported.

"You have devastated this woman," the judge said. "You are a dangerous man."

According to court records, Yeager kept a journal outlining his plans to rape and even kill women. 

The investigation began last November when an Upper Macungie real estate agent told police a man came to her office and asked to see one of the model homes.

The woman told police that she felt uncomfortable with the man, and noticed he didn't ask for information about the home. The woman said she told the man he could look at the home himself.

She told police the man stayed in the home for about 45 minutes and then returned to the sales office, saying there was a water leak in the model home. The man insisted the woman look at the leak but left abruptly when a male co-worker entered her office, the woman said.

The woman said she checked the model home and found no leak. The bedroom curtains had been pulled shut and the lights had been turned off. 

Police were able to track Yeager through a description of his truck.

When he was arrested, police found a kit that included matches, a lighter, scissors, knives, an electrical cable stripper package, binoculars, a black ski mask, gloves, a rope, two handguns and ammunition, a metal chain with padlocks and duct tape. Police also found a second roll of duct tape, a crowbar and realty brochures in the truck.

According to the Express-Times, Yeager's family testified on his behalf, saying he'd been bullied as a child and ignored by women as an adult due to his physical appearance.
