NSA Leaker's Dad: 'Don't Do Anything Treasonous'
Lonnie Snowden of Upper Macungie told his son to come home and not leak further information in an interview with Fox News.

The father of NSA leaker Edward Snowden, who according to published reports resides in Upper Macungie, told Fox News Monday that he hopes his son doesn't do anything treasonous.
Lon Snowden, in an interview with Fox News, also urged his son, 29-year-old Edward Snowden, to come home and not leak further information.
Edward Snowden, 29, who is said to have taken refuge in Hong Kong, identified himself to news organizations earlier this month as the man who leaked news of the National Security Agency's vast surveillance programs.

It is not known if Edward Snowden has spent any time in Upper Macungie.
Ellicott City Patch in Maryland reported that he grew up in Elizabeth City, N.C., but then moved to a house near Fort Meade, MD, when he was a teenager, according to The Guardian. The report said he is still listed in public records as a resident of a house in the 7700 block of Mayfield Circle, MD, which is near Meadowridge Road in Ellicott City, MD.
