Parkland Hockey Team Wins Game 1 of Playoffs

The Parkland Ice Hockey Club defeated Freedom, 6-1, Monday night at The Rink in Whitehall to take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series for the Lehigh Valley Scholastic Hockey League Championship.
Game 2 will be held at the same location at 6 p.m. Wednesday night, where Parkland could wrap up the title.
