Pasta for Porter Fund-Raiser Set for Friday

It's a fund-raiser for Porter Lilley, a Fogelsville third-grader with leukemia.

The Fogelsville community is banding together to help eight-year-old student Porter Lilley in his fight with acute lymphocytic leukemia.

A fund-raising spaghetti dinner is being held Friday at the Tek Park Multipurpose Room, 9999 Hamilton Blvd. in Breinigsville. Cost is $8 in advance for adults and $10 at the door. Cost for children is $5 in advance and $7 at the door.

The proceeds of the event will serve to defray Porter's medical expenses. Porter is currently hospitalized at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital, according to Christa Eck, who is spearheading the event.
