PennDOT Roadwork Starting Aug. 13

Whitehall Township:

PA 145 between Fairmont Avenue and Lehigh Valley Mall. Type of Work: Construction work being done by PENNDOT Contractor. Type of Restriction: Night.

Lane restriction in both directions for work related to the ongoing US 22/PA 145 interchange project. Work will take place Monday-Thursday nights. Expect delays. START DATE: 08/13/2012  Completion Date: 08/24/2012 Restrictions in effect 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. 

North Whitehall Townhip:

Neffs-Laurys Road between Old Post Road and Railroad Road. Type of Work: Milling and Paving. Work being done by PENNDOT Maintenance Forces. Daytime lane restriction with flagging. Watch for stopped vehicles and use caution when traveling through work area.  START DATE: 08/13/2012. Completion Date: 08/17/2012 Restrictions in effect: 7 a.m to 3 p.m.

Whitehall Township

Second Street betwen PA 329 AND PA 145 Type of Work: Inspection work being done by PENNDOT Bridge Inspection Forces. Type of Restriction: Daytime southbound lane restriction with flagging 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Northbound lane restriction with flagging 12 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  START DATE: 08/17/2012 Completion Date: 08/17/2012.

Interstate 78:

Interstate 78 between Exit 49 (PA 100) and Northampton County Line. Drainage work being done by: PENNDOT Maintenance Forces .

Shoulder work, no restrictions. Watch for stopped vehicles and use caution when traveling through work area. START DATE: 08/13/2012  Completion Date: 08/16/2012 Restrictions in Effect: 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

US 22:

U.S. 22 between Northampton County Line and Interstate 78 for line painting work. Traffic may be slowed for line painting operation. This will be a moving operation. Please use caution driving through the area.

Start Date 08/20/2012  Completion Date: 08/21/2012 Restrictions in effect 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
