Trexlertown Blockbuster store remains open despite cutbacks.
The Blockbuster store at 7150 Hamilton Blvd. in Trexlertown was open for business Wednesday and will remain open, despite published reports concerning  the company's announcement this week that it will close seven area locations in the Lehigh Valley.
Trexlertown store employees declined to comment on the situation, except to say the store will remain open for the time being.
So, if you prefer to rent movies from Blockbuster, the Trexlertown location will be the closest location for Upper Macungie Township residents.
