Rider Injured During Motorcycle Fundraiser
A Trexlertown woman riding in the Robert Lasso memorial Motorcycle Run in Williams Township was injured when she lost control of her bike. She was flown to St. Luke's Founatin Hill.
A Trexlertown woman who lost control of her motorcycle, hit a guardrail and flipped down an embankment, according the The Express-Times.
Emergency radio reports indicate that she was flown by PennStar helicopter to St. Luke's in Fountain Hill.
The woman, Amber Steffie, 24, of Trexlertown, was riding in a memorial motorcycle run to raise money for the family of Robert Lasso, a Freemansburg police officer who was shot and killed in August while responding to a domestic disturbance call.

Today’s accident happened at 1 p.m. in Williams Township along Route 611. Reports indicate she is in critical condition.
