School Plays, Trick or Treat This Weekend
A look at what's happening in Upper Macungie this weekend.

The weekend is almost upon us, so let's take a look at what's happening Friday night through Sunday in and around Upper Macungie.
- Parkland's Middle Schools present their school plays—Robin Hood at Orefield, Dr. Doolittle at Springhouse. Both plays take the stage Friday at 8 p.m., while Springhouse does an additional performance Saturday at 2 p.m. Orefield will have a second show Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5.
- Upper Macungie's trick-or-treat night is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday evening.
- Faith Church at 6528 Hamilton Blvd. presents its Kandy Kingdom, "an afternoon of cider, donuts, games, crafts, and of course...lots of candy!" Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- On a similar note: Asbury United Methodist Church holds a "trunk or treat" event Satuday at 6 p.m.
- The Iron Lakes Country Club holds a masquerade gala to raise money for the MS Society, Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $50. To order, call 610-697-1351.
