Sex Assault Victim Testifies Against Instructor
A preliminary hearing was held Monday for Shahrokh Mahrkar, according to WFMZ.com.
A karate instructor will face charges in Lehigh County Court in April stemming from allegations that he sexually assaulted a student, according to a report on WFMZ.com.
The report said Shahrokh Mahrkar worked at American Mixed Martial Arts Dojo in Trexlertown in 2009. Police said he had sexual contact with a 12-year-old student that went on for two years during and after training sessions, police said.
The alleged victim did give testimony at the hearing.
