Space remains for the seven-week Lehigh County Citizens Police Academy course, which runs Tuesdays from Sept. 20 through Nov. 1 at the Fogelsville Fire Company #8 at 7850 Lime Street in Fogelsville.
The course, sponsored by the Lehigh County Chiefs of Police, the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office and support from the Fogelsville Fire Company, accepts the first 50 applicants.
The academy meets each Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Course work runs the gamut from emergency response and criminal and homicide investigations to criminal procedure and gang investigations.
