Starlite Diner No Longer Open 24 Hours
Management at the Starlite Diner on Route 100 near Interstate 78 recently decided to cut its overnight hours.

If you want a late night bite to eat at the Starlite Diner on Route 100, you'll have finish by midnight on most days and even earlier on Sunday.
The diner is no longer a 24 hour, 7 days a week establishment as of last week.
The words "Open 24 Hours" have been patched over on the diner's big sign facing Route 100. Business hours are posted on the door.
A manager on duty Sunday night, identified only as Jean Paul, cited business reasons for the change.
"It's easier to manage this way," he said. (Overnight) traffic comes and goes. We decided to go with a first and second shift.
It wasn't immediately known if any jobs were lost at the diner as a result of the business change.
The diner's new hours are:
5:30 a.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday.
5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays
