Weis Gas Station Ok'd by Supervisors
Plans for a fuel station and two large retail sites at the Fogelsville Weis shopping center were approved by Upper Macungie Supervisors.
Upper Macungie Supervisors gave their blessing Wednesday to two long-awaited projects at the Weis Shopping Center at 7801 Glenlivet Drive West in Fogelsville.
A Weis-branded Gas-N-Go fuel station, consisting of eight fueling bays, a 204-square-foot kiosk for an attendant and an employee restroom is expected to start construction quickly and completed by November.
The second development is a 2.906-acre property plan for two retail sites at the shopping center. Plans call for a 9,375-square-foot multi-use retail establishment. The second retail building is pegged at 8,400 square feet.
Site improvements will consist of at least 99 new parking spaces, access and utilities for the three new facilities.
