Trio Nabbed For Upper Macungie Thefts

Three separate incidents occurred April 20 at Redner's and Wawa.

said three people were charged and cited for theft in the separate incidents in Upper Macungie Township:

-- Police said Kokalibe Patel, 65, of Allentown was charged and issued a citation April 20 for theft of $5 worth of grocery items at Redner's Warehouse Markets at 7150 Hamilton Blvd. in Trexletown. She was released and will appear before District Judge Charles Crawford.

-- Police said Pinalben Patel, 31, of Allentown was charged and issued a citation April 20 for theft of $14 worth of grocery items at Redner's Warehouse Markets at 7150 Hamilton Blvd. in Trexletown. She was released and will appear before District Judge Charles Crawford.

-- Police said Michael Daubert, 57, of Bethlehem was charged and issued a citation  April 20 with theft of a pack of mints at the  at 7572 Schantz Road in Allentown. He was released and will appear before District Judge Charles Crawford.

-- Matthew Cross, 26, of Allentown was arrested April 23  and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a 12:15 a.m. traffic stop by officers at the intersection on Schantz Road and Lone Lane in Upper Macungie Township, police said. Cross, police said, was given a field sobriety test and transported to Lehigh County Central Booking. Police said Cross was released and will appear before District Judge Charles Crawford.

-- Wayne Krall, 43, of Allentown was arrested April 23  and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a 1:30 a.m. traffic stop by officers on Lone Lane in Upper Macungie Township, police said. Krall, police said, was given a field sobriety test and transported to Lehigh County Central Booking. Police said Krall was released and will appear before District Judge Charles Crawford.
