Tuesday in Upper Mac: Free Allentown Fair Admission
The Parkland School Board meets Tuesday night at 7 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 27, is expected to feature partly sunny skies with chance of showers after 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Here is what's going on in and around Upper Macungie Township:
- The Terry Hill Water Park, located at 10000 Hamilton Boulevard, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. The park offers fun for the whole family featuring rainbow slides, a Wild River, a Lazee River, a Tarzan rope and a diving board. The park also features a miniature golf course. Amenities include free use of picnic tables and lounge chairs as well as hot showers and parking. A refreshment stand sells ice cream, hot dogs, hamburgers, snow cones, sodas and iced tea.
- Liber-tee Miniature Golf Course, at 7720 Adrienne Drive in Breinigsville, is another place to play a game of miniature golf and enjoy some ice cream afterwards. The park is open from 6p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday.
- The Great Allentown Fair begins its annual run at the Allentown Fairgrounds. Admission to the fair is free all day and night Tuesday. Click here to see more information from Patch on fair attractions.
- The Parkland School Board will meet Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the administration building, located at 1210 Springhouse Road in South Whitehall.
