Going on Vacation? Police Will Check Your Home
Upper Macungie Police say residents can make their requests by telephone or by visiting headquarters to complete a form.
August is prime vacation time and many folks are getting ready to head out to the beach, the mountains or that special getaway.
And, thanks to the Upper Macungie Police, residents don't have to worry about the safety of their home and valuables while they are away.
The Upper Macungie Police Department has continued the practice of vacation checks, which was started by the now-defunct Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Department.
In order to place a vacation check request, residents should either contact police headquarters at 484-661-5911 or stop into headquarters at 37 Grim Road to complete the form.
Vacation check requests cannot be requested online.
