, the 26-year-old tennis professional from Upper Macungie Township, lost in the third round of the singles tournament today in Forest Hills, N.Y., according to a report in the Morning Call.
The 31st-ranked Lepchenko fell in three sets to Australia's Samantha Stosur, 7-6 (7-5), 6-2, according to the report.
The report stated it was the first time in four tries that Lepchenko reached the third round of the U.S. Open.
