Wednesday, Aug. 14 is expected to feature sunny skies with fall-like conditions and high temperature near 77 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Here's what's going on in and around Upper Macungie:
- Come out to Applebee's at 1510 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. in South Whitehall on Wednesday to participate in Dining to Donate for The Parkland Community Library. Applebee's will donate 10 percent of your food and beverage purchase to the library with a flyer you can pick up at the library.
- The Parkland Community Library will hold its monthly Night at the Movies on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Under the licensing agreement, the library is not permitted to list titles here. Please call 610-398-1361 or come into the library at 4422 Walbert Ave, South Whitehall, for the information.
- St. Paul's UCC Church of Trexlertown will hold a Narcotics Anonymous meeting at 7:30 p.m.
- The Valley Preferred Cycling Center, at 1151 Mosser Road in Trexlertown, will hold an adult basic course for aspiring cyclists from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
