1. Weather:  The temp is ticking up again! According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny, with a high around 87.

2. In Case You Missed It: Attention municipal leaders! A new program will allow municipalities to borrow waste yard grinders from Lower Macungie and Emmaus for yard waste. Journalist Margie Peterson explored the new program in her Monday article.

5. Today in History: On July 27, 1974 impeachment proceedings began against then-President Richard M. Nixon. The House Judiciary Committee voted to impeach Nixon in the face of irrefutable evidence that he tried to cover up the Watergate break-in. Nixon is one of only three presidents to be impeached -- the other two being Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1998.
