Today in History: Evander Holyfield could have never predicted that when he stepped in the ring June 28, 1997 that his rematch with Mike Tyson would go into the history books as both a boxing match and a culinary no-no. In the third round, bad-boy Tyson, who had taken a beating from the clean-living heavyweight Holyfield, bit a chunk off Holyfield’s ear and spit it onto the mat.
