Coopersburg Man Threatens to Kill Ex's New Boyfriend Via Text
Shawn Kresge, 19, is out on bail following charges of terroristic threats and two counts of harassment

On March 3, police charged Shawn Kresge of Coopersburg with two counts of harassment and one count of terroristic threats after allegedly sending death threats to the boyfriend of an ex-girlfriend. Police were contacted by the ex-girlfriend, Desiree Hausman, and Grant Nunn, her new boyfriend. The couple informed police that Kresge has been sending unwanted text messages and making phone calls to both Hausman and Nunn. Hausman explained that Kresge was her ex-boyfriend though they broke up four years ago. Hausman claimed that Kresge has been contacting her since the relationship ended.
On Feb. 26, Nunn texted Kresge asking him to stop contacting Hausman. Kresge texted back a message, stating that Nunn should “def [definitely] stop txtn [texting] before u [you] die.”
Documented texts show that Kresge made contact with Nunn threatening additional violence and also listed Nunn's address. Kresge also texted Hausman five times that same day.

According to the criminal complaint, Hausman decided to contact police now because “the defendant’s [Kresge] behavior had gone on for a long period of time, since the relationship with defendant ended, not to the current level with the above threats.”
Kresge is out on bail.
