Coopersburg Resident Attacks Man With Meat Cleaver

Article: 30-year-old Jason J. Plenderleith attacked a Perkasie man, only to be overpowered by the victim.

A Coopersburg man has been charged with attacking a man inside a Perkasie apartment earlier this month.

A recent article on Philly Burbs.com says 30-year-old Jason J. Plenderleith, whose legal address is in Coopersburg, was arrested following an altercation with another man on July 5. The article goes on to say Plenderleith first attacked the man with a meat cleaver. When the victim wrestled the cleaver away, Plenderleith then attacked the man with a string before being overpowered and running to the fire escape.

Plenderleith was hospitalized for injuries caused by the victim.

Another article says Michelle Lin Jones was charged with interfering with the investigation of the fight and for aggravated assault for allegedly spitting at police officers while taunting them that "I have Hepatitis C, ha ha."
