Summary:  According to the criminal complaint, police were called to the Executive Inn on a trespassing complaint (see Stevie Newhart). Police were also sent to Room #206 for a trespassing complaint. Police made contact with the occupant, who identified himself as Moezi. Moezi stated he was the boyfriend of Newhart. Police asked for the right to search Moezi, which he granted. When police moved toward Moezi, Moezi put his hand in his left front pocket and removed a baggie with a leafy green substance “consistent with marijuana.” When police went to grab the bag, Moezi threw it on the floor and stated it wasn’t his.

1.     Possession of a small amount of marijuana

 

Name: Stevie Lynn Newhart

Summary: According to the criminal complaint, police were dispatched to the Executive Inn on Route 309 April 25 to remove an “unwanted female” from the office. Upon arrival, police were advised that the female (identified as Newhart) was not a paying customer. Police advised Newhart to leave the property and not return or she would be arrested. On April 26, police were again called to the Executive Inn to remove Newhart, at which point she was arrested.

Name: Kurt M. Laudenslager

Summary: According to the criminal complaint, police were dispatched to the scene of a car accident involving a motor vehicle and a parked car. While speaking with the man identified as the driver of the moving vehicle (Laudenslager), police “detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person and breath; he was also unsteady on his feet and was swaying back and forth all the while I was speaking with him.” When asked for his driver’s license and registration, Laudenslager replied that his registration was in the glove compartment, but he only had a picture ID. Officers verified that Laudenslager’s driver's license was suspended and arrested him. A blood test at central booking showed Laudenslager’s blood-alcohol content was at least .15 percent (almost twice the legal limit) at the time of the accident.

2.     DUI-General Impairment (3rd Offense)

3.     DUI-High Rate of Alcohol (between .10% and .16% alcohol in bloodstream two hours after arrest)

 UPPER SAUCON TOWNSHIP

Name: Collin Joseph Horvath

Location of incident: Upper Saucon Township

Summary: According to the criminal complaint, police were called to an unoccupied house in Upper Saucon Township where a vehicle was parked. Police checked the vehicle, found it unoccupied and proceeded into the home. Police found a male (later identified as Horvath) in the kitchen, attempting to leave through a back door. Police handcuffed and searched Horvath. During the search police “located a brown glass smoking device and a clear plastic baggie containing approximately .2 grams of a green leafy substance that field tested positive for marijuana in his left jeans pocket.” Horvath was then arrested and charged.

Charge:

1.     Felony Criminal Trespass

2.     Possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use

3.     Possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia

Location of incident: DeSales University, Upper Saucon

Summary: According to the criminal complaint, a resident adviser at DeSales University contacted police. The resident adviser stated that he had reported Sclafani to school officials for an alleged school violation on March 31. On April 3, the adviser reported that his car had sustained damage, including a cracked windshield, chipped windows and scratched doors. The damage exceeded $1,000. DeSales police were able to determine Finley, Senatore and Sclafani were involved in the incident and issued arrest warrants.
