Expect Blue Church Road Paving, Detour

Blue Church Road between Locust Valley and Beverly Hills roads in Upper Saucon Township will be closed for paving on Friday, Oct. 11, and Monday, Oct. 14, PennDOT's District 5 Engineering Office announced Thursday.

Assuming that the weather cooperates, the paving work—which is being performed by a contractor for the township—will be done between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

There won't be any work performed on Saturday and Sunday, and the road will be open to traffic over the weekend.

While Blue Church Road is closed, traffic will be detour via Locust Valley Road, Valley View Road, Grant Road and Beverly Hills Road, according to the statement from PennDOT.
