Free Announcements: How to Post Them on Patch

Celebrate accomplishments, share timely information and generate free publicity by posting announcements on Upper Saucon Patch.

Are you a member of a local group that's planning a fundraiser or event? Do you have a press release with news that you want Southern Lehigh readers to see?

Then share it on Upper Saucon Patch! Posting an announcement is free and only takes a few minutes once you're logged in to a Patch account (click on "Join" in the upper-right corner of the page if you haven't signed up yet).

HOW TO CREATE AN ANNOUNCEMENT

Once you're logged in to Patch, go to the new announcement page.

In the dropdown Category menu, you'll notice that we have a category for almost everything (accomplishments, promotions, school, thank you, etc.), so feel free to post an announcement for just about anything.

Fill in the required (*) fields with information and upload any optional photos or PDFs you would like to appear alongside the text of your announcement.

Tip: When creating your announcement, try to be as specific as you can and remember to include the "Who, When, What, Where and Why."

When you're done, hit the "Post My Announcement" button at the bottom of the page and your announcement will be live on the site.

Optional: Bookmark the new announcement page so you can quickly navigate to it the next time you have news to share. Or, you can scroll to the bottom of the homepage and select "Announce something to everyone" under the Contribute category the next time you need to access the form.
