Freeze Watch Issued for Friday Night

If you still have tender vegetation outside, you should consider bringing it indoors before Friday night.

That's because the National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Watch for Northampton and Lehigh counties for late Friday night through Saturday morning.

The forecast for our area calls for temperatures to drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s.

"Sensitive plants will be damaged or killed if not protected or brought indoors," the NWS said in its statement about the watch.
