Free summer concert season will be coming to an end soon, at least until Musikfest begins. Until then, enjoy the free music at the Bethlehem Sculpture Garden with a performance by 3rd Street Blues--the last in this year's series.

At the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley, the QNB free series will continue with Peripheral Vision rocking the Town Square Friday night. Big Shot, a high energy Billy Joel tribute band, will be blowing the lid off SteelStacks.

If you're in the mood for some baseball, catch the IronPigs on their home field as they battle the Columbus Clippers all weekend long.

For theater lovers, the PA Shakespeare Festival will continue with a performance of Hamlet on Friday and Pride & Predjudice on Saturday.

Finally, take the kids to the Musikfest Cafe to see the Rocknocerous for a moving and grooving Sunday evening. To get yourself moving and grooving, take a trip to the Allentown Brew Works for their Sunday Night Salsa and cha cha your way into Monday.

FRIDAY EVENINGS IN THE SCULPTURE GARDEN (BETHLEHEM FINE ARTS COMMISSION)

  • WHY GO: Peripheral Vision, the Olympus corporate band, will perform classic and contemporary rock in the Town Square.

COLUMBUS CLIPPERS VS. LEHIGH VALLEY IRONPIGS (MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL)

  • WHERE/WHEN: Coca-Cola Park, 1050 Iron Pigs Way, Allentown, Friday, 7:05 p.m., Saturday, 6:35 p.m. and Sunday 5:35 p.m.
  • WHY GO: To help cheer the hometown team out of their recent slump. Still part of a winning season, the Pigs are going to try to rally against the Charlotte Knights. Don’t forget about Friday and Saturday night fireworks!

PRIDE & PREDJUDICE/HAMLET (PA SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL)

  • WHY GO: This D.C. trio have been rocking the pint-size concert scene since they were kids themselves, and now they are bringing their eclectic repertoire to the ‘Stacks. Join Coach Cotton, Williebob and Boogie Woogie Bennie for a Sunday evening you and the kids won’t soon forget.

SUNDAY NIGHT SALSA (ALLENTOWN BREW WORKS)

  • WHERE/WHEN: 812 W. Hamilton St., Allentown, Sunday, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. 
  • WHY GO: On what's expected to be a steamy summer evening, another Sunday of salsa is coming to High Gravity. Take the elevator up to the second floor and kick start your week. Beginners, newcomers and experienced dancers are all welcome.
