Last Chance: Solehi Foundation Ladies' Night Out Fundraiser at Melt

The Southern Lehigh Education Foundation will hold its 6th annual Ladies' Night Out fundraiser this Wednesday, March 28 from 7 to 9 pm at Melt, level 3. 

The mission of the Southern Lehigh Education Foundation is to support the students and residents of the Southern Lehigh School District.  Through the efforts of volunteers, the Foundation is dedicated to raising additional funds to enhance students' academic, cultural, and technological experiences by awarding grants to teachers for events and equipment, which would not normally be funded by tax dollars. 

In recent years, SLEF has sponsored endeavors that include: funding for a special assembly at the high school entitled, "Every 15 Minutes" (a mock drama to warn students of the dangers of distracted driving); a Shakespeare workshop at the Middle School; and the DynaMath learning magazine for students at the Intermediate School. 

  It is expected to draw over 100 women from the Southern Lehigh community for an evening filled with food, prizes, and fun.  The highlights of the evening will be over 50 raffle baskets and silent auction prizes donated by local businesses and vendors. 

Staff members from Lehigh Valley Style will be there to make the evening memorable for all.
