Lower Milford Agrees to Attend Meeting Discussing Regional Police Force
Oct. 10 meeting invitees include Upper Macungie, Alburtis, Emmaus, Lower Macungie, and Upper Milford as well.
The idea of a regional police force may be on the table for Lower Milford, according to an article in the Morning Call.
The article, which discusses Macungie Mayor Rick Hoffman's position as both mayor and chief law enforcement officer, notes that a "potential meeting" with nearby municipalities to discuss regionalizing the police force is scheduled for Oct. 10. The article goes on to say that Lower Milford has already agreed to attend the meeting.
