Lower Milford's First Draft of Proposed Budget Posted Online

Realty tax unchanged in first draft of proposed 2014 budget, which is posted on township website.

A first-draft version of the proposed 2014 budget for Lower Milford Township -- which leaves the real estate tax unchanged -- is posted on the township's website.

The document projects $844,000 in general revenue, which represents a slight decrease from the amount projected for this year.

The township's total income and beginning cash for 2014 is projected at $1,188,441.

There is no proposed increase in the township real estate tax in the first-draft budget, and no salary increases projected for the township's police chief and part-time officers.

The final budget will be approved by the township Board of Supervisors later this year.

The next supervisors meeting will be Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the municipal building, 7607 Chestnut Hill Church Road.
