'Marley and Me' House is for Sale
House used in movie version of Coopersburg man's memoir listed for $1.25 million

Take out your checkbooks, folks. The picturesque Chester County farmhouse used in the film "Marley and Me" is for sale.
The film "Marley and Me," starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, was based on Lower Milford resident John Grogan's memoir about his relationship with an impish family pup named Marley.Â
According to reports from the local paper, the family who lives in the Chester County home is looking to downsize. The home boasts five bedrooms, three and-a-half baths and four outbuildings, and sits on 16 acres. The home is just 45 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. It's listed for $1.25 million.

During the filming, John Ennis and his wife, Lisa, moved into a nearby condo. The majority of the furnishings in the film was the owner's belongings, including fine-art photographer Lisa's artwork.
The home does come with its quirks. The Ennises report that many tourists come by the home to take a photo or two before moving on.
