Middle School Students Show Off Business Sense at the "Mall"
Tonight at Solehi Middle School, Social Studies students showcase their own businesses at the "Middle School Mall."

Starting a business can take years of hard work and planning. What if you only had one semester to do it?
That's what social studies students at Solehi Middle School did. Tonight, from 6:00to 8:00, the community is invited to the "." The mall will showcase products eighth-graders created for the final "marking period." Products include CDs, photography and ...puppy chow.
Eighth-graders Abbey Cerciello, Leah Hantz and Gabi Uribe built a business around "puppy chow," a mixture of corn cereal squares covered in chocolate, peanut butter and powdered sugar. "It's quite delicious," said Abbey, who wrote Patch to promote her business. The business, called "Chow Down," is just one of the many projects that will be open for business tonight.
