Police: Couple Left Young Kids Home Alone with Marijuana

Damoulis and Grace Papadogonakis, are charged with child endangerment and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance after a traffic stop.

An Allentown couple are charged with child endangerment and drug-related offenses after police pulled them over in Upper Saucon and found several baggies of marijuana in their car and later found more marijuana at their home while their two children were alone.

Damoulis and Grace Papadogonakis, both 29, were pulled over for a routine traffic stop when police asked if there were any illegal substances in their car. After the couple admitted they did have drugs in the car, police searched the vehicle. 

According to the criminal complaint, police saw "green matter in a clear plastic Ziplock baggie tucked in the rear pocket of the front passenger seat and was observed in plain view." Upon further search, police found four additional baggies with the same green matter. The matter field-tested positive for marijuana.

The couple consented to allowing police to search their home. Upon entering, police found the couple's two children, ages 4 and 8, alone in the home. Police seized additional baggies of marijuana and paraphernalia at the home. The couple admitted to leaving the children alone at home while they were out in their car.
