Upper Saucon Increases Clean-Up Efforts
Extended compost hours and round-the-clock road crews are working to clean up your town.

PRESS RELEASE: Upper Saucon Township
The Upper Saucon Township Road Department has been working diligently to ameliorate the impacts of last weekend’s winter storm. Their efforts focused on plowing and salting the roads as the snow fell. The aftermath left the roads littered with tree limbs, and they are working to clear and open up roads for vehicular traffic.
At this time, the Road Department is clearing debris from all Township-owned roads to make them safe for traffic. There might be times they may need to wait for PPL utility crews to repair lines before they can proceed. Once all the roads are opened, the Road Department will then come through and clean up the rest of the debris from the right-of-way along the road.

If you have been affected by the power outages due to the winter storm, PPL has some resources available. If you need to call PPL for outage status, or to find places distributing ice and water, please call 1-800-342-5775.
The storm's impact on trees and roads appears to be worse than what was sustained during Hurricane Irene in August. We appreciate your patience.
