REMINDER: Fireworks Tonight Showcases Never-Before-Seen Displays

The two-hour display promises a loads of new fireworks for a low price.

The annual Lower Milford Carnival is quickly approaching, along with the Friday fireworks display. However, you can get a taste of the action before the June event tonight at the Lower Milford Fire Company.

The fireworks company that creates the fireworks displays will be "testing" the fireworks tonight at dusk at the Limeport Pike-located firehouse.

The cost, 5.00 per carlod of people, goes to the fire company, who recently was forced to add a new roof to the fire house and social hall.

"The flat roof was retaining water," said officers at the Monday May 2 company meeting. "So we had to use our reserves to fix it. A slanted roof was the better investment."

The fire company is expecting people to start arriving at 6:30pm. As namy as 200 people are expected to attend this extended look at the sommer fireworks. Food and drink will be available for purchase at the event. Parking will be in the firl house lot.
