SLSD Fitness Center Open to District Residents for Free
The Southern Lehigh School District fitness center is open to district residents free of charge.

Southern Lehigh School District residents who want to get in shape before the holidays may want to consider using the district's fitness center, which is open free of charge to residents, it was announced at the school board meeting Monday.
The fitness center is located in Southern Lehigh High School and is open to the public from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
A form, which is available on the school district website, must be completed in order to use the center. Proof of residency, such as a copy of a driver's license, must also be submitted.
General information and fitness center rules are also posted on the website.
The center is open during the school year, except during holidays or when the school is closed because of weather or other reasons.
"People are certainly encouraged to use our fitness center," school board president Jeffrey Dimmig said at Monday's meeting. "It's a great resource for the community, and it's free. A lot of people don’t know that."
