St. Michael's Students Help Animals in Distress

St. Michael the Archangel Student Council members recently collected hundreds of pounds of pet food and supplies for donation to Animals in Distress.

Located near Coopersburg, at 5075 Limeport Pike, Animals in Distress is an organization that helps find homes for pets in need. A no-kill shelter, Animals in Distress provides medical attention, food and a temporary home for dozens of animals in its care.

In conjunction with the service project, St. Mike's students and their families donated hundreds of pounds of pet care essentials to the shelter, and the items were delivered on Dec. 22 by members of Student Council.
