A highlight of the week will be a free concert in Upper Saucon Township Community Park this Thursday.
Monday, Aug. 5

7 p.m., Coopersburg Borough Council committee workshop meeting, Borough Hall, 5 N. Main St., Coopersburg
7:30 p.m., Lower Milford Township Planning Commission meeting, township building, 7607 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Coopersburg
Tuesday, Aug. 6
6 to 10 p.m., Quakertown Fire Department Carnival opens, 4th and Mill streets, Quakertown. The carnival continues nightly from 6 to 10 p.m. through Friday. Saturday it will be open from 3 to 10 p.m. One-price ride specials will be offered Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. Also enjoy food, games and live entertainment.
Thursday, Aug. 8
7 p.m., Concert in Upper Saucon Township Community Park featuring The Ultra Kings performing rockabilly music, 3231 Preston Lane, Center Valley. Free.
Saturday, Aug. 10
9 to 10 a.m., Upper Saucon Township Tax Collector Hours, UST Volunteer Fire Department, 4445 West Hopewell Road, Coopersburg
