This Week in Southern Lehigh: What you Need To Know

Head to school this morning, kids: That's right folks, you've got school. Due to our October snow, we've got some days to make up. So pack those lunches and bundle up!

And Speaking of School:has a parent association meeting Wednesday at 2pm. We've also got two committee meetings this week. Tonight, the Finance Committee meets at 6pm at the IS, and Wednesday, the Facilities committee meets at the Central Office at 4pm. 

• The Finance Committee's goal, as per the agenda, is to "Establish the overall cut/tax/fund spending goals for the 5-year budget."
• The Facilities Committee's agenda, as of this writing, has not been published. 

While you're on a Meeting Kick: has its regular monthly Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday at 7:30pm. As of this writing, the agenda is not posted. 

Need a Meeting Break? The Promenade Shops have Winter Hours in effect, so make sure before you head out to get your latte, everything's open. The  will have regular hours for movies, including , which we reviewed Friday. 

How about a Night Out Sans Kids? is holding its monthly Parents Night Out this Saturday night. The program runs from 6pm to 9pm and includes dinner. Kids will get to play games and build models to their heart's content. And as long as your children are potty trained, they can come and play!
