Two Unrelated Accidents on I-78 Within Hours of Each Other

A second accident, apparently involving a bus, is now being reported on I-78 this afternoon. According to WFMZ, the second accident took place around 4 and involves multiple injuries.

The accident took place around mile marker 71.

Twitter reports from those driving though the area also say that I-78 is flooded at the Route 412 interchange -- the exit for Hellertown.

An shut down two westbound lanes of traffic on I-78 at mile marker 58 in Upper Saucon Township. One person was extricated from a vehicle in that accident.
