UPDATE: Suspect in Custody in Nockamixon Double Murder
Early reports say police believe man and woman beaten to death, Palisades SD releases statement

UPDATE: According to a WFMZ report, Palisades School District confirms that the murder "directly affects two students in the high school--a 10th grader and a 12th grader."
Palisades School District released to following statement:Â
We are deeply saddened by a tragic event that occurred today involving adults in the Palisades community. As a district, student and staff safety is our primary concern. The incident did not occur on school property. However, after conferring with the State Police, a brief least restrictive lockdown was put in place this morning in all of our schools as a precautionary measure. The suspect is in police custody. Counselors are on hand to provide support for our students and staff if needed.

Police now report a suspect is in custody in an early morning double murder.
Inital stories said police were looking for Lloyd Hill. Police asked the public to be on the lookout for a purple Ford Taurus or a similar car, license plate EYF-5704.

According to recent reports, the call came in just after 6am. When police arrived at the Schoolhouse Apartments on Easton Rd. in they found two victims. An updated report says that the man and a woman recently moved into the apartment. Police initaially believe they were beaten to death in the apartment.
