A Carbon County woman was cleared of animal cruelty charges she had faced in Upper Saucon Township in a summary appeal trial before Judge Maria Dantos, the Express-Times reported.
Suzanne M. Ebbert, 64, of Palmerton, was convicted in January of animal cruelty in a case that revolved around the care of chickens and horses, but that conviction was overturned by Dantos, the article indicated.
