Upper Saucon Township : Chestnut Hill Road Construction

Anrich Inc. which was awarded the Chestnut Hill Road Storm Sewer Project, Phase 2 with Upper Saucon Twp has contracted with Barker & Barker to finish the project with milling and paving. The construction zone is between W Hopewell Road and Limeport Pike and a small section of W Hopewell Road near the intersection with Chestnut Hill Rd.

While the paving crews are working, Chestnut Hill Road will be CLOSED to all thru traffic for at least two full days with partial closures for other days:

Monday, September 27 – Road Open – mobilization work some delays are possible.
Tuesday, September 28 – Road CLOSED 24 hours
Wednesday, September 29 – Road CLOSED 24 hours
Thursday, September 30 – Road CLOSED during the day / OPEN at night
Friday, October 1 – Road CLOSED during the day/ OPEN at night

This schedule is subject to change predicated on weather. 

The work crews will do all that it can to expedite this work to minimize any inconveniences. All local residences will have access to their driveways from one direction or another during work hours. As always, Emergency Services will be given priority if responding to locations within the construction zone.
