Upper Saucon Township : Public Notice: Water Main Break On Chestnut Drive

February 5, 2022

02/05/2022: Upper Saucon Public Works crews are responding to a water main break in the vicinity of Chestnut Drive between Cherry Lane and Orchard Drive. Work will be done between Noon and 2 pm today. During this time residents in that area may experience low or no water pressure. This will include the Saucon Valley Crossings mobile home park.

Crews will flush water lines in the area after the repair has been made. As a result of the line flushing process, residents in the immediate vicinity of the work may experience temporary discoloration of their water. This discoloration consists primarily of harmless silt and air and does not affect the safety of the water. If you experience discoloration in your water in this area, clear the pipes in your home by running all water faucets for a few minutes.

At this time we do not anticipate a need for a boil water advisory.
