Visually-Impaired Coopersburg Native Completes Epic Bike Journey

A Coopersburg native who is blind in one eye and visually impaired in her other has completed an epic 16,000-mile tandem bicycle ride from the southern tip of Argentina to the northern tip of Alaska.

A Coopersburg native who is blind in one eye and visually impaired in her other eye recently completed an epic 16,000-mile tandem bicycle ride from the southern tip of Argentina to the northern tip of Alaska, according to an article published by the Express-Times. 

Christi Bruchok, 32, and her boyfriend Tauru Chaw, 43, who is also visually impaired, decided to embark on the trip in order to experience the world, challenge themselves and inspire others with disabilities, the article said.
