Where's the Cheapest Gas in So. Lehigh?

Gas prices are again on the rise.

Gas prices are rising, as they typically do during the summer travel season. So many motorists are again paying close attention as they ponder their pump picks.

According to the website AllentownGasPrices.com, where readers post updated gas prices from stations around the Lehigh Valley, the cheapest gas prices in the Southern Lehigh area as of Monday afternoon were as follows:

U.S. Gas, 360 N. Third St. (Rt. 309), Coopersburg - $3.52 (cash price), $3.55 (credit price)

Turkey Hill, 106 S. Third St. (Rt. 309), Coopersburg - $3.55

Xtra, 1720 Rt. 309, Coopersburg - $3.55

Giant, 216 E. Fairmount St., Coopersburg - $3.55

Sunoco, 5778 Main St., Center Valley - $3.55

The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.63 as of Monday afternoon, according to AllentownGasPrices.com. That's an increase of 20 cents from one year ago, when the national average price was $3.43.

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in the Lehigh Valley was $3.56, according to the website.
