Upper St. Clair Approves Second Plan for New Neighborhood

The move will connect Oaklawn Drive.

Upper St. Clair commissioners unanimously approved a second plan for Willowbrook Estates on Monday.

The plan makes part of Willowbrook Extension remain a private road.

The previous plan approved by commissioners had the road become a public road.

Developer Alan Sherwood was forced to come back to the commissioners after having difficulty getting permission for some of the current homeowners to make Willowbrooke Extension a public road.

One of the homeowners testified he was afraid of how it might impact future development by his home.

As Sherwood moves on with the development, he will continue to try to work with homewoners to make the Willowbrooke Extension a public road.

The plan will connect Oaklawn Drive and 15 new homes will be constructed.
