Upper St. Clair Woman Wins Pittsburgh Half Marathon In Her Age Group
Tina Seech does more than just run.

Tina Seech, of Upper St. Clair, won the Pittsburgh Half Marathon last weekend in her age group of 50-54 with an impressive time of 1:34:38.
Yes, that's just over a 7-minute mile, for 13.1 miles.Â
It put her just 40 seconds shy of her personal best time she got in last year's half marathon.

The feat came one day after the 51-year-old ran the Pittsburgh 5K in a personal best time of 20:30.Â
"You're supposed to slow down (when you get older), but I'm speeding up," Tina said.

Tina's been running for 20 years and competes in 10-15 races a year. They're as short as one mile and as long as the half marathon.Â
But her real fitness secrets starts at 5:45 a.m.—she takes a spinning class almost every morning.
"I spin to run," she said. "It's good cross training."
