Warminster Among Most Rapidly Growing Home Prices: Report
A new report analyzes the state's fluctuating real estate market. Warminster is where prices are growing the fastest.
WARMINSTER, PA — Pennsylvania's suburbs are rapidly changing and growing. And Warminster Township is among those towns when it comes to home price values.
A new report compiled by media organization Stacker uses Zillow data on home prices to find out how the state's real estate demographics have fluctuated over the past year.
The report ranked Ivyland, which is surrounded by Warminster Township, at No. 30.

Specifically, the report zeroes in on the cities and towns in Pennsylvania with the fastest-growing home price. The overwhelming bulk of cities and towns with the fastest-growing prices are in the greater Philadelphia area, which has 32 in the top 50.
The typical home value for the Ivyland area was $536,215 with a 1-year price change that increased by $44,303 (9 percent) and a 5-year price change that increased by $161,269, or 43 percent, the report states.

Several other towns in Lower Bucks County were represented in the report.
They include Yardley and Richboro.

4. Garnet Valley - average home value: $626,253 - 1-year price change of $66,455 (+11.9%)
5. Malvern - average home value: $678,705 - 1-year price change of $65,138 (+10.6%)
6. Glen Mills - average home value: $639,723 - 1-year price change of $63,901 (+11.1%)
7. Pocono Pines - average home value: $489,294- 1-year price change of $63,220 (+14.8%)
8. Wynnewood - average home value: $706,191- 1-year price change of $60,592 (+9.4%)
9. Mount Gretna - average home value: $385,492- 1-year price change of $60,113 (+18.5%)
10. New Hope - average home value: $821,724- 1-year price change of $59,750 (+7.8%)
